Welcome
Recreation. Leisure. Play.
I Understand
Everyone deserves opportunities to experience joy, purpose, and connection—regardless of age or cognitive or physical changes. Recreation Therapy is about much more than staying busy; it's about enhancing quality of life through meaningful, person-centred experiences that honour each individual's strengths, interests, and life story.
My work and personal life are shaped by empathy and understanding. Through formal education and lived experience, I have developed a deep appreciation for the cognitive changes that many individuals and families navigate every day. I recognize the importance of compassionate, gradual, person-centred support that meets people where they are.
I work in a way that prioritizes dignity, emotional well-being, and safety. Communicating with patience and clarity, adapting to each person's unique needs, and fostering an environment that feels calm, respectful, and familiar.
I focus on relationship-based care—building trust over time while honouring each individual's history, preferences, abilities, and daily rhythms.
I believe support should never feel rushed or transactional. Whether through conversation, creative expression, movement, community outings, cognitive engagement, or simply sharing meaningful moments together, every service is thoughtfully tailored to what brings purpose, comfort, and joy to the individual.
My goal is never to correct or control, but to cultivate connection, confidence, and moments of genuine fulfillment—helping individuals continue to live with meaning, dignity, and excitement at every stage of life.

Power in Play
I've always been passionate about improving the quality of life of the people around me—whether that's family, friends, or the individuals and families I have the privilege of supporting through Recreation Therapy.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I began volunteering with older adults living with dementia. It was through those meaningful relationships that I discovered my passion for working with individuals experiencing cognitive changes and their families. Witnessing the impact that compassion, patience, and meaningful engagement could have on someone's day inspired me to pursue a career where I could make that difference every day. I was accepted into a Recreation Therapy program, where I gained the knowledge, skills, and evidence-based approaches needed to turn passion into a profession and obtained my Recreational Therapy Diploma, in addition to my Bachelors in Business Administration.
Today, I feel incredibly grateful to support individuals in living meaningful, engaging lives while honouring their unique strengths, stories, and abilities. My approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and the belief that every person deserves to feel valued, connected, and empowered—regardless of age or diagnosis.
Outside of work, you'll most often find me exploring the outdoors, staying active, spending time with loved ones, or sharing a good laugh. Nature, movement, and genuine connection are some of the greatest sources of joy in my own life, and they're values I strive to bring into my work every day.
I would be honoured to be part of your journey. If you'd like to learn more about my services or discuss how I can support you or your loved one, I'd love to connect.
